益子朝市 at 道の駅ましこ
毎月第3日曜日開催
前々回に陶器市に関することを書きましたが、益子の人間にとって陶器市が年２回の「特別」なイベントだとしたら、土曜市は毎月行われる「日常」のイベントでありたいと思っています。
ある人が、いまの経済は特別な何かで活性化しようとしているけど（休日のみの高速１０００円とかエコポイントとか）、本来は平日や普段の生活の中でこそ、ちゃんと経済が成り立たないといけない、そんなことを言っていました。
そんなわけで、月１回の開催ではありますが、益子土曜市は「特別」ではなく、あくまで「日常」としての益子の風景の一部になっていければなと思っています。
土曜市をはじめた大きな目的のひとつに、土曜市をきっかけに出店者の日々の営業がよりよいものになればなという想いがありました。土曜市を通して出店者それぞれの日常がよくなっていけば、それが益子全体がよくなっていくということに繋がっていくと思いますし、そしてそれらが最終的にはお客さんにも繋がっていくことだと思ったからです。
お客さんにとっても、出店者にとっても、日々の暮らしがよりよいものになるように、「益子土曜市」を末永く続けていければなと思います。
「特別」でもなく「非日常」でもなく、「ちょっといい日常」を出店者・お客さん、みんなでいっしょに作っていきましょう。
